Hello my Dear wonderful Family!!!
I AM A MISSIONARY!! I have the wonderful black tag! Everyone calls me Sister Durr! haha I LOVE IT!!!
A week as past by, Thursday is finally here, which mean that P-Day . . . yes. It has been such a good wonderful experience here in the MTC. I have experienced discouragment and happiness. I have kinda told you more in letters about roll plays and how we are learning how to teach. It is a lot to learn. I have also learned that I need to relay more on the spirit and my companions. On which I have two. Sister Nancy Perry from Midvale and Sister Alexandria Walborn from Michigan. I love them both, We are all so different but we work so well together. I am not sure where else to go with my 23 minutes that I have left. I like to write handwritten letters, so if you send me a letter or a dearelder, you can be sure to hear back from me. My teachers are great, Brother Strong and Sister Ward. I have learned so much from them. The food is good. Kevin said that if I eat too much of it then I will get "plugged" but, I eat my portion and I have not had a hard time pooping. Yes I just said it. lol I have meet the sister that I have told some of you about. Sister Holladay. We are not comps. We are acutally in different Branchs. But there are 7 sister and 3 Elders that are all going to Florida. Our classes are near each other. we are becoming close friends since we will be traveling to Fl together. I am learning so much!!
I struggled at first, the first week was rough. Learning how to wake up and learning on how to best teach. Sundays are not feeling like sunday's. I have never been in a branch so It took a day to get used to. My branch is also awesome! The Elders are really cool. We all get along so well. One of them, Elder Hepworth reminds me of Kevin in a way. super funny and kick back. We get along the best I think.
I love this work even though it is hard to get used to. I am very thankful for everyone that has taken the time to write me and send me their love!
I am sorry that this may seem short There is a lot in one week. But I am sending personal letters out to those who wrote me.
The Spirit works miracles if we let it influence our lives. I know this to be true.
I love you all so much and I hope that the Lord is blessing you in ways that you need it!
WRITE ME!!
XOXOXO
