Hello Everyone!
I am so looking forward to writing you this email! Lots happened this week, I just pray that I have enough time to get it all out. I also hope that the spirit will touch you and testify that the Lords work is moving in Florida and we are speaking with people that are ready to hear the gospel.
First things. . Thank you for the letters that I got this week. I forget that everyone sends letters at the beginning of the week which means I don't get them till the end of the week. But I love all the letters and the emails (for family members). I am grateful for you all taking the time to write me. I do love them as Kevin stated, as I know he loves the letters too. I can't believe that March is almost over, and I can't believe all the birthdays that are coming up. I thought of you Julie all day Saturday, I am glad you were spoiled! As it should be! Kevin's Birthday is next. He being in New York I hope he gets lots of Love!
Fred the alligator moved out of our pond. We haven't seen him in a few day. We are not sure if someone fished for him or he headed to another pond in fear that someone would fish for him. Good for him that he is out though. Moving on to bigger and better things.
This week we were able to be blessed to teach three amazing students! One being an Agnostic, another being Atheist and another who is religious but looking for more. The agnostic has a long way to go our first step is to have him be comfortable with us and teaching him that God loves him and wants to hear from him. He hasn't prayed in about 3 years. We meet with him this week. As for the atheist. He was never raised with a religion so everything we are teaching him is brand new. He prayed for the first time last night and it was AMAZING!!!!! Nothing beats seeing a person speak to God for the first time. He is cautious but has an open mind and heart, which is the best part because that is when the spirit works. The girl looking for more is legit! We taught her the plan of happiness and she loved it! She prayed for the first time out loud last night and "she felt good" ha ha LOVE THIS WORK!!
As for our other investigators, we are still meeting with them, but they slowly progressing. I have faith that they will be able to make it to church soon, but with conference that is what we are trying to get them too. It is frustrating when they want to get baptized but make up excuse after excuse of why they can't come to church! BAH! Really Satan!? Really!!
I have really learned and still continue to learn how to use the spirit. Saturday was awesome because we worked this! We didn't have any lessons set up so we listened to the spirit even more and we were directed to the gas station near by. and there we talked with a young man that we tracked into the other day. We got to talk to him again and it was pretty much the coolest thing ever!
Thursday March 24! Family you should remember this day! For this day. . One year ago Kevin and I went to the temple and received our endowment! HIGH FIVE Kevin!!!! lol Well We as missionaries in this mission get to go 4 times a year, every other transfer. and It worked out that this transfer we could go. So we asked members who were going and we got a ride. It landed on March 24 that we got to go to the temple! YAY! As you can imagine to my joy. . . one year mark I got to attend the temple! It was awesome! President Hall challenged us to pay attention to all the questions that are asked. and by doing that for me it was a revelatory experience! We truly are agents!!!
I love this work and the things I am learning here in Florida being the Lords missionary! I love you all so much and can't wait to hear how your week went.
Love and continue to be Full-time finders!
