Miracles After Trials

HELLO EVERYONE!

What an awesome week that I am excited to tell you about. I don’t have much time so I hope I get it all in.
As for the pictures that are attached. . We did a bulldozer challenge. . A 3lbs burrito in 30 min . . . . as you can see the ones that DID it won a t-shirt and a picture on the wall of FAME!! What is up! I did but soon threw it all up. . Lol GREAT TIMES... insane. . Yes. . Great mission story YOU KNOW IT!! HAHAHAHA

As for the work, we are teaching a lot of people, but most aren't promising. We teach them the Message of the Restoration and then they don’t want to see us again. Story of our Lives. We don’t give up hope and our Faith is still strong, and we rely on the spirit to help us and guide us. I meet Kent's parents this weekend. I love these people with all my heart! They are so ready and prepared for the gospel. Family Ties! It’s so cool and lucky that Elder Higgins gets to teach these wonderful two, and Kent gets to baptize them when he moves home in a week. This past Sunday was amazing! President and Sister Hall came to our fast and testimony meeting and got to meet Kent and his mom and dad!
It was such a tender moment. You could just imagine my face-lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July because I was so happy!!!

Cool story for the week. . As of Yesterday actually. . . If you can all go back to some of the stories of the people I was teaching in May. Natasha was one of them. She was ready to be baptized but then went home for a few weeks... those few weeks turned into 4 MONTHS!! Yesterday she called us . . . we went to see her. . SHE IS BACK IN ORLANDO!!! And is GETTING BAPTIZED THIS SUNDAY!!!!!!  This is how it happened. . .  We began the lesson and asked her how everything was going. She is so great. We asked her how she was still feeling about baptism, "I still want to be baptized." -She said. So we invited her to be baptized THIS SUNDAY! Then she responded "I want to finish the whole Book of Mormon before I am baptized. I asked her where she was at in her reading.  She opened her book, flipped some pages, and handed it to me. I was looking at the word "Liahona" in the INDEX!!!! I said "This is where you are Natasha?" she said "Yes, I have this much left." I look at her and said "Natasha, this is the index, you have FINISHED the Book of Mormon!!" She couldn't believe the words that I had just said. Tears sprung into her eyes as she said "It looks like Sunday I will be getting baptized!" What a wonderful moment. She is so ready to make this covenant with our Father in Heaven. I love being trusted enough by Heavenly Father to receive the revelation needed for His work. For we planned to have a baptism this Sunday but wasn't sure how in the world we would get one, and the LORD PROVIDED!!!!

Sorry this is so short, I am out of time but please know that I am happy and doing so well! I love you all so much and hope that everyone is well. I think and pray for all you often!

 All my love!
