HELLO!!!
How was everyone's week? I hope it was as good as mine- hum. . Honestly was it?
It sounds like Kevin's week was awesome! Invite them home Elder Durr!

Starting at the beginning- The work is moving forward. I have much to be grateful for. One of them is my testimony! We have had some pretty interesting run in with some people this past week. One of them was while we were riding our bikes to have lunch with a member. This guy Fred was a Baptist. It was so funny. We asked him "Are you a Baptist?" he answered back without hesitation "No . . . I mean yes. . ." It was so FUNNY! He then proceeded to tell us A LOT of false stuff about Joseph Smith and what not. We boldly testified. .but his hard was very hard. He was the rudest man I have ever met thus far on my mission. Which is pretty good for being here a Year. One day we were teaching this BIG black man, Lenny. He is very prepared for this truth. He was shocking everything in and listening to every word about the Restoration. He was asking so many questions and was sad that we had to end the lesson. He wanted to know everything. Well we all walk back to where our bikes are locked. At that same time Lenny's neighbor got home. We depart ways, while we were unlocking our bikes we hear Lenny asking this "christen" women if she has heard of the church. He was so excited about all the things that he had just learned. Well leave it up to Satan to bash everything that we had just taught him, as this lady along with her husband, proceeded to tell him false things about the church. . Including that Mormon's believe people live on the moon Hahaha really! We had heard enough when they started to talk about the temple . . .I rounded the corner and called them out on the false things and told them that if they had any questions about what we believe that we would be happy to answer them. The couple turned bright red, the husband went into his house and the wife didn't know what to say. We were mean or rude about it, but kindly with love told them they were wrong. It was intense!

We met with Mike this past week as well. He knows everything is true but doesn't have faith in the Savior. He doesn't know for himself that Jesus Christ died for him. We are working on building his faith and relying completely on the Lord to invite him to do things that will build his faith. Cecil and Rose- We are still teaching them. The other day Rose told us that she knows this church is true and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. The spirit was so strong as she was telling us this. We acted on her testimony right away and invited her to be baptized. . She said that she is still waiting for God to tell her what to do. Cecil we believe is depending on his wife to know what to do. They didn't come to church this past Sunday like they said they would. Sad DAY! The brother and sister that we were teaching we aren't anymore. They don’t want to act on the things that we have taught. . We plan to go back in a week or so to see if anything has changed with us not coming over as often. Saturday- Carrie was BAPTIZED!!! It was a very spirit driven service! The Spirit was there and everyone in attendance knew that Heavenly Father was so proud of her and accepted this ordinance. She was confirmed yesterday and that as equally amazing!
Daytona 500 was also this weekend. There were cars EVERYWHERE! We were so grateful that we were on bikes and didn't have to deal with the traffic! We could hear the race one night. So cool!! This week we get the car so we plan to hit up the places and people that live too far to bike to. Friday is my Birthday we have some pretty awesome people that we plan to see. Most of them are potentials and ready to be taught and invited to baptism! This week is going to be AMAZING!!! I hope your week is pretty amazing you and that you all celebrate my birthday by sharing the gospel with someone that you come in contact with. I will follow up with you! Lol I hope I have told you all that I wanted to for this week. Thank you for your prayers! They are felt. I love this work and know that God is in charge, I know that everything happens on His time we just need to learn to be patient. This Gospel is true and it holds and teaches the pure doctrines!

I love you all so much. I have received lots of letters last week from most of you, my wonderful Siblings. Please know that I plan to write you back. Don’t be upset if it is not this week. As for my dear friends that have written. . Know that I love you and your support! I will write you back when I get the right amount of stamps :-)
