** Hi, this is Treble/Jeanette. SORRY I have been slacking in updating the blog. My baby and work took a lot of my time up the past few weeks. Here is an overflow of posts coming at you!! **
HELLO!!!!
How are you all? This past week is one to always remember. I LOVE my new assignment! Daytona is wonderful. Every single day I look forward to waking up! The only thing I can really complain about is my bed is WAY TOO soft. One of these days Sister Lima is going to wake up to me on the floor. Ha-ha. We have so much fun. Sister Lima is SO FUNNY! She is from Sao Palo, right across the street from the Sao Palo Temple. I love teaching with her. The Spirit is ALWAYS with us. LOVE IT!!! This weekend WAS SO COLD! Another one that just bites us at the bones. Sunday morning we biked to church, it was 32 degrees WE FROZE! I love it here though. I have not seen the beach yet but when it gets warmer we will go one Monday morning. It is my birthday wish to go. So next month! YAHOO! This upcoming week will also be one to remember. I hit my ONE YEAR mark on Feb 16! Can you believe it, because I sure can't! I have so much to be grateful for. The Lord is blessing us!!
Our gators are wonderful. We are working on getting them to church and helping them feel of the spirit so they can make that effort. Carrie is solid. We had a mishap the other day by inviting the wrong member, who offended her bad, but his testimony of the gospel is so solid that we just needed her to talk about what she knows to be true, and it all went away! Incredible how the spirit works and HEALS! She will be getting baptized on Feb 25. We are also working with a brother and sister, they are so awesome and they know it is true! Teens and not wanting to get up in the morning. . That is what we are dealing with. There is also a guy named Jake. He is black with LIGHT blue eyes! So cool. We taught him this past week and he is progressing. I love being here in this area! There is a famous man here. . Grandpa. . Famous to the missionaries. He is a crack up!! And takes really good care of the missionaries. I wish you could all meet him! Ha-ha
Cool Story:
The other day we were contacting a potential, there were so many little black kids everywhere, we started to visit with them, they were so awesome, and two of the little girls wanted to do missionary work with us, so they took us by the hand and introduced us to their neighbors and friends. It was so SWEET!! We met some really cool people and were blessed with two new gators from them wanting to help us with talking about Jesus Christ. I love this work!!!! These little girls were awesome!
One More:
I was looking through our ward directory and I see this name with the last name of DURR! What the what! We share this area with the Zone Leaders. Sister Lima and I are in the North side of Daytona and the Elders are in the South end, unfortunately Bro. Durr lives in the South end. Most likely we will get permission to go see him, since well. . He is inactive and we have the same last name. TOO LEGIT!
I love you all so much and hope that you all have a great week and a wonderful Valentine’s Day!!! I will be thinking of you all.
