FAMILY!!!!
I want to start out with all the miracles that I have seen this
past week. . . First of all this morning I discovered that my wallet was
missing. With prayer and turning the car and apt upside down we came up with
the conclusion that an investigator might have stolen it at church yesterday
when I was away from my bag. . don’t judge me. I thought it was safe.
Everything was in my wallet right. Well miracle at the end of last week the
mission office called me and told me to take all my money out of my missionary
account because they were going to cancelled the card and send me a new one. I
have all my missionary money. The only big deal is my driver’s license. . since
I am the only one that can drive. . o boy! hahahaha A new adventure. Now we
just need to find this gator and confront him. The issue. he is homeless
and phoneless therefore we must exercise more faith than ever before to find
him. It was a miracle in itself that he even showed up to church. Please pray
that all ends well. . as we know it will!
Miracle 2- Diane was BAPTIZED!!!!! INCREDIBLE. She was sooooo
happy and bouncing around. The light of Christ was shining in her eyes sooooo
brightly like I have NEVER seen before. My favorite part was watching her walk
back into the room after getting baptized with the BIGGEST smile on her face!
The next day the Bishop almost forgot to have her confirmed. Thank goodness for
text messaging and people having their phones on at church.
We are working with some other awesome people. Angela is good
and on her way to baptism this upcoming Saturday! She is so excited. We went on
a temple tour this past Friday and she can't wait to go inside. .she can't wait
to get married there with her soon to be husband. Jathan is so cute!! He came
up to us so excited yesterday at church to show was his bookmark that he made
for his B.o.M. reading. He even showed us how much he has read! HE LOVES IT!!!!
He will be baptized on May 27 (KYLE'S B-DAY :-) Sooooo cool!!!
We are working hard to find more people to teach because
everyone we are teaching are making covenants with the Lord!
I love being a missionary and seeing people's lives change
for the better.
Last night we went to a bible study with some members. It was
good. We read from John 3. We didn't get very far. It was awesome to learn from
the spirit. We were able to talk and give our thoughts. Sister Lima and I gave
a lot of thoughts and testimony. We hope to go back again. It was interesting
to see that the guy conducting the bible study was exactly like Nicodimous. .
he kept missing the point. . the important doctrine of baptism by water and
fire.
I love you all. . and I hope you all have so much fun this week,
as you all deserve it with KEVIN coming home!!! Take lots of pictures!!!! LOVE
YOU ALL
