FAMILY!!!
Once upon a time, I knew in my heart that Sister Lima and
I were not done serving together. The spirit told me time and time again that
we still have work to do together, even though people around us said otherwise.
The Lord is blessing us and will CONTINUE to bless us and this area for the
next 6 weeks. Therefore, if you don’t understand Sister Lima and I are STAYING
TOGETHER!!! WE ARE SOOOO HAPPY!!! AND we are full car! No more car share! I
will make sure I won’t get fat. We run every morning and we still plan to
bike!! Hahahaha I HOPE you can feel OUR EXCITMENT!!!! YAYA!!
This week was incredible. Katherine was baptized on Saturday and
confirmed on Sunday. During the combined lesson during 3rd hour our Bishop got
up and spoke. Or I guess more like called everyone to repentance. It was SWEET!
All about missionary work and supporting the new converts, by going to the
baptisms that we will be having almost every weekend for the month of May. In
describing Katherine's baptism to everyone, he put into words how I was
feeling, and how spiritual the baptism was. He said, "For all those
that were at the baptism, I know you felt the spirit. I was sitting waiting for
the baptism to begin and it felt like I was in the temple. The spirit was so
powerful. For those of you who can't make it to the temple- GO TO THESE
BAPTISMS!! For it should feel like you are in the temple because we are
performing the saving ordinance of baptism."
The baptism was that wonderful and overwhelming. Katherine is
the sweetest spirit. The talks given were prefect. There wasn't allot of ward
members there but it seriously was like we were in the temple!!! INCREDIBLE!!!
The ward leaders, namely the Bishop, are the best ever! Everyone's excitement
is bouncing off of Bishops and it is so cool!!! Diane - (Cecil's younger
sister) is getting baptized this Saturday- Diane is so excited and we know
that there will be so many ward members to support her. Another cool thing
about Bishop Words. He had every one who is a convert- who was baptized as an
adult to raise their hands. ALMOST EVERYONE raised their hands. It was sooooo
sweet to see! Things are changing even more than before. Great things are
happening.
Angela is still good for baptism on May 12. This past weekend
she went to NEW YORK! For her best friend’s wedding. We meet with her this week
to see how that was and everything. Jathan is still the cutest 9 yr. old and we
love teaching him. We are working hard to reach the goals that we have set. We
are striving and looking for more people to teach. ALOT of first lesson's that
are spirit filled, but no shows for the next lessons. We know that as we
continue to fast and to pray and work our plans, and plan to work the Lord will
lead us or lead them to His true Gospel, true church.
Sister
Lima and I are sooooo happy and working sooooo hard! I am not sure what else to
tell you all. I love being a missionary and serving our King and Creator in
moving His work along! I feel His hand every single day! I give Him all the
glory. He is the reason we are seeing so much success and blessings! Thank you
for all your prayers and support- please don’t stop them! Until next week-
please keep being happy and keep your eyes and heart open for the missionary
opportunities and miracles that are everywhere!!!!
