Hello My Dear Family!
I come to you feeling happy and very blessed! This past week is one to always remember! I can't believe how fast the week came and left! Where do I even begin this email!
As for our wonderful friends that we are teaching-
Natasha- It always rains when we go and see her. We got wet again. . this time we were able to go home and change into dry clothes before going over and teaching her. Thank goodness. She is set to be Baptized on May 29th!!! She was/is so excited when we invited her to be baptized. She said "I have been thinking about getting baptized and even had a dream that I was. You guys have read my mind!!" lol The Spirit is working through us to help His daughter! We love her so much and get so excited when we get to see her and teach her.
Moniqe- Is Set to be baptized on June 5! YAY She loves learning and loves coming to church. She opened up to us this week. The gospel is helping her in her life and it is a beautiful thing to be witnessing!
Kent- Our Gold. This week when we saw him he asked us if he can move up His baptism day!! to this upcoming Sunday! WHA!! HAHAHA If he feels ready and is ready what are we to do than to help him prepare and get ready! We will see where he stands, this week, with the things that he is working on currently to get himself ready for his day!
Scott- He has been seeing the missionaries since November. The other day when we went over to teach him we ended up giving him the "drop talk" which just told him that he needed to meet us half way if this is what he wants. That was on Friday. We showed him that we were serious with not teaching him if he does not want to keep the commandments and invitations we extend. He text us Sunday morning an hour before church and told he was COMING!! Scott came to church and understands that he needs to meet us half way. It was an awesome thing to see!
So we had 4 friends at church yesterday and it was awesome because the BYU Ambassadors were here. Look them up, seriously! (I WANT THE CD: called "Harmony" cough cough) After church there was a "linger longer" food, dinner, all of our friends stayed for that, ate dinner, ,mingled with ward members. Then after the fireside started and it was KILLER!!!! The spirit was so strong, and the music was out of this world! It even made some of our investigators cry. I love how the spirit works and how He can speak to us through music!
As for me and the missionary work. I am doing excellent. Today is my 3 MONTH mark! Can you Believe it. 3 months today I entered the MTC. . it should be smooth sailing from here right? lol I love this work and I love being the Lord's tool and instrument. He is really blessing this area through us.
This past week we had Zone Conference. Which I learned a lot. One thing that I have set a goal to work on was contacting and planning, to be better, and that is what was focused on. I can only become better. I love that everyday we can learn something new even though we are doing the same thing everyday!
I love you all so much and Look forward to next week and when I can give you more good news and happy blessings. Until then continue to pray and seek for guidance from Heavenly Father and how you can become a better Member Missionary!
XOXOXOXOX
