HELLO!!!!!
Once upon a time I had an amazing week as a Missionary! I want to first thank everyone who has been praying for me and the work of the Lord in the Area that I am serving in! Your prayers are felt and I feel every one's love as I work for the Lord everyday! And thank you for praying for all the Missionaries who are serving in the World!
As for the week! Boy o Boy!
Starting with Monday after I emailed everyone we went off and did our P-day things. Our p-day ended really early as a guy we are teaching really needed to see us. Which was good because we learned what he is really going through as to why he can't let himself get baptized. We are now working with him a lot more to get him on the right track. The Lord is really blessing us to help His son! Then we went and taught a lesson. Which was incredible! Matt accepted baptism! I love how the spirit works! The BYU ambassadors FHE was AWESOME!!! One of the girls I kinda knew, We were freaking out at how small this world is- Mormon world- haha The girl is friends with Jeanette and played the Piano for Jeanette at my farewell! It was fun to see a familiar face! haha (Right Treb!!)

From then on the week was WORK WORK WORK! Constantly teaching and contacting people, having lunch and dinner as backup plans if a teaching appointment fell through! I love those days! This week was a little trying. Somehow I got a really bad sore throat. Which resulted in my body just aching! UG really SICK in the summer time! The second day of feeling my worst I had to get a blessing so I can handle the sickness. My District leader came through. Once the prayer was offered I felt a ton better, I was able to bare it, because it didn't completely go away. I am happy to say that it didn't last very long! and was gone by the end of the next day. It slowed me down but I never wanted to work more hard so it would go away! Also this week. . what a blessing a flat tire could be! haha of course Sister Christensen got a flat on the week we didn't have the car! haha but we got lots of potentials from it! She had to carry the tire pump with her all day Saturday! We had fun trying to find a store close enough in walking distance to buy a tire repair kit that would work! haha
Saturday morning we were about to go in a teach someone and our phone rings. . it was a member of the bishopric. The lucky one to answer the phone was me. I was asked to give a talk in church the next day! Everyone that knows me knows how happy I was to get the chance to speak! I gladly accepted!
Church was awesome! My talk was good. It was my first time speaking in a ward. . . When I was announced "Our first speaker will be one of our full-time missionaries, Sister Durr" I got super choked up! AH THIS IS REAL!! hahaha I couldn't believe it! I am a Missionary! I felt as I was speaking that I have grown. I am not the same person that left you all 3 months ago! I am growing and stretching in ways that I never thought possible! I can't wait to see how I am as time goes by!
KENT was BAPTIZED!!!!! and George(baptism from Mother's day) was confirmed! It was an awesome day! The ward also got a new mission leader! We are very excited about that!
It was an awesome Week, one that I will always remember!!
This week is going to be different because I am Senior Companion I get to go to the two day training! Yeah!!!
I love you all so much! Thank you again for all the prayers and letters! You all are wonderful!!! HUG AND KISSES!!
