Pioneer Days

HELLO!!!!!!!

How is EVERYONE!? This has been a good long week. We had two days of leadership training and I learned SO MUCH!!! I just love being able to go to training and being around the best missionaries the Lord has sent here, and being around President Hall just makes the week so much more fun and inspiring. I love President Hall. After the first day of training all the sister's got to stay behind and we got fed dinner- President's Favorite- Hamburgers. . yes I ate a burger with cheese on it!! It was DIVINE! Then we had a special sister's training after. I learned so much during the these two days. Like how to teach better, how to love role playing, and how I can better serve my District Leader and companions. We have applied Lots of stuff in our learning for the two days into teaching. The week was slow since we were taken out of the area for training, But when we were here we worked so hard!
We meet an awesome guy biking on Saturday named Javi- We gave him a BOM and invited him to come to church. He is such a cool guy and Loved the Ward! We couldn't believe that he actually came to church, he will be getting baptized, we just need to meet with him and start teaching him.
Lex- received the Priesthood yesterday! It was so awesome! He just loves this church and the gospel. Mark- will be getting baptized this upcoming Sunday. The Lord is really blessing this area that I am serving in. We taught an awesome lesson to this built black guy- Ricky- who had TEARS! streaming down his face during the whole lesson. This spirit spoke to him we asked him how he felt quote "my chest is burning- I have never felt this before." How great is the Holy Ghost!!!! He accepted a baptism date of Aug 7. We then taught Manuel- who is the complete opposite of Ricky. Manuel does not feel the spirit and doesn't want to. We had to drop him. He doesn't want it. We let him know how devastating it was for us to see him throw away what he does know to be true, he just doesn't want it, and doesn't wan to act on it. That was hard, But is so cool to see the difference of someone who is ready for this gospel and someone who is not. and you can feel the difference!

My "twins" are doing awesome and adjusting to the work just fine. President said during training- I want to share this with you all
"The Key to my success on my mission is my companion". Please start praying for my dear companions, and for Kevin's comp. They are doing stellar. I am learning a lot from then and growing a ton.

That is all for this week. I hope you all had a GREAT PIONEER DAY!!! hahah I wished everyone a happy pioneer day here, they have no idea what it was but a few.
