HELLO!!!!
I had such A GREAT WEEK!!!!! First of all. . I want everyone to STOP reading my email. . Go to iTunes or the LDS book store near by and buy the CD:
Welcome back! Okay. . I bought this CD last week and can NOT stop listening to it. BEST EVER!!!! (Kevin I am sending you one- so don't buy it) EVERYONE who has served a mission will love it it will remind you of your mission, those who haven't will want to or wish they did, and
MOM AND DAD- YOU have/ had missionary children so listen to the words and listen to it with tissues! hahahaha DO IT!!!
That is my little selling point, I hope you all listened. This past week was a good one like I said. We went on exchanges, I was in the neighboring singles ward for three days. Disney World Area. . . no I didn't go to Disney World, but one day on the way to a lesson the sister I was it got lost and so we drove on Disney road. . i guess that is what it was.. . So I got a picture of the nice "SIGN" hahaha LOVE IT! Then my last day in the area we were eating dinner with a member who lives where all the Disney college program people live. . and there was a graduation party. . and I saw MICKY and DONALD DUCK and DAISY and GOOFY and PLUTO! There were all there dressed in their graduation outfits. I wanted a picture SOOOO BAD, But we didn't have time, tear! But at that moment.. it truly felt like I was in Florida! hahaha Have I been here the whole time?? It was a sweet HAPPY reunion to be back with Sister Wilks, We missed each other but we learned so much from the sisters that we were with for those three days.
There is not much more to report on this week.
The Lord is really blessing us and this area, like I say every week. We work our hardest, do everything we can and he provides! We reached our Goal of teaching 20 people. . we could not have done that without the Lord! That is one thing that I have learned. We listen to the spirit and set righteous goals, work hard all day, every day, and the Lord will see that. That even though sometimes our goals may seem impossible to reach Like mom's great Christmas present "What is impossible for us, is Possible with God's help" HOW TRUE is that!!!! I have a strong testimony of this! He helps us to set these goals, He is help up reach them. We need to put our trust in him and move!!
Transfers are tomorrow. . . . Here is the DL.. . I and my beautiful companion, Sister Wilks are STAYING!!!!!! I knew this was going to happen, I am not done serving in this area. Sister Wilks and I have people to find, teach and baptize! As for other stuff. My district is completely changing.. . My district leader is going to another area, one of my Zone leaders is going home. . tears are shed for both of these great elders. We are getting a new Zone leader which we both are so excited about because he is a fun elder! and our new district leader is a hard worker. I will report on all the changes and how they are going next week. SO FUN! Life changes for all of us in different ways!
