Greetings to you all! I don’t have much time So I Hope I get all the 411 in that would benefit you all and strengthen your faith in our Savior Jesus Christ.
HIGH LIGHTS OF THE WEEK:
Back in March when I was a brand new missionary, I met a guy named Don- Who is agnostic. We taught him a couple times then he dropped us. We have been friends with him even since. Seeing him on campus and phone calls and such. Well, He let us meet with him again. . This past Wednesday was the first time since March . . . and let me tell you! HE PRAYED for the FIRST time in 4 YEARS!!!!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE! The spirit was so strong, it took him about ten minutes to start, but once he did it! WHAMMY! I love the way the Holy Ghost works!!! We met with him again on Saturday; the spirit was once again leading the lesson. He agreed to come to CHURCH!!!! The first time in 4 years!!! Don's faith is growing, and it is so special to see. I still can't believe that he has "crossed" the line and is working on having a relationship with his Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ! HIGH LIGHT!!! Well that is just one high light of the week.
Peter- A sweet boy from Korea. We met him on campus a few weeks ago. We thought he was a member of the church. We saw him on Wednesday as well, and learned that he is NOT a member, but really wants to be. In Korea- he has been going to YM's for two years but was never able to attend a Sunday service because his parents would not have it. Now that he is not at home and far from home, he is taking advantage of this time to learn more about the Church that he has loved for the past two years. He came to church for the first time and LOVED it all!!!! He is set to be baptized on October 9.
Ricky was baptized on Sunday- it was awesome!! He was so excited. President Hall even came because Ricky wanted him there. (They meet at Waffle night) It was wonderful!!!!
Saturday night as all you females should know was the R.S. General meeting. We were lucky go and WHAT A BLESSING!!!! Forget-Me-Nots!!! Seriously. . Look up the talk again you girls. Mom, Kimm and Julie. . . I thought of you guys the whole time, and fought so hard to keep the tears back. I love you so much and miss you like no other!! LOVE LOVE!
This past Tuesday. . We were biking- I didn't see the curb change. . And I FELL OF MY BIKE!!! Hahaha I have a nice purple bruise on my left knee and a nice. . Scab now. . On my right knee, I had a yard sale when I fell. . Ha-ha I forgot to tell you this story in the video recording that Wendy took of me for you. I did get permission from President to have her stop and see me. Did you get the things I sent home with her??
I am now out of time. . But I want everyone to know that I am happy and doing SO GREAT!!!! You are all in my prayers. Thank you for everyone’s support and encouragement.
Mom and Dad- I didn't hear from you this week. . No hard letter or email. Sadness in my heart . . . ALOT! Grandma Durr came through with a fun card and letter. (We haven't checked the mail box today yet though) I hope everything is okay, and you both are happy.
